Description
A good value seaside holiday camp, on a compact and easy to navigate site. There's a range of standards of accommodation from budget to executive. In good weather the budget does very nicely, and is rather like living in an en suite beach hut. The huge communal areas have fabulous dance floors for events such as Jive Addiction's amazing Hemsby Weekender .
Packages for such events include full board. There's always a vegetarian option of some sort, usually cheese or egg based. Give the venue a couple of weeks' notice with a direct phone call and you'll be asked what ideas you have for your vegan meals. They can get in Linda McCartney products if you like basic sausages and country pies, though the chef's own bean dishes are great, and he politely misses out on garlic for dancers! Don't

"For the package price the food was excellent in a lovely basic hearty way. At the Sept 2011 Jive Addiction weekender here the atmosphere was amazing. The dining staff helped it to be so with their friendliness and the vegan options cooked especially for me that everyone was jealous of."
